Vicky Frissen.

The woman, the writer, the w… I got nothing.

‘Twas the night after Christmas 1995 when I was put on this world, as part of a two-for-one deal. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but I’m currently working on becoming an adult in Barcelona.

I started writing and freelancing because my plans of a steady job fell through. That is to date the best thing that has ever happened to me. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Or financial or mental stability.

I’m always trying new things: prose, poetry or a really long article on a subject I had never heard about. I like a challenge. But I also like to keep it simple.

I prefer to have my ass in the sand at the beach, instead of an office chair. Don’t get me wrong, I love my job – but I am not living to work. That doesn’t mean I’m lazy, on the contrary: I try to be as efficient as possible. You’ll find out what that means when we work together.

Want to get to know me even better? I’m flattered! Feel free to creep on my social media channels, or ask me anything.

“Sometimes I have a way with words – sometimes words have their way with me.
