Vicky Frissen.

The woman, the writer, the w… I got nothing.

‘Twas the night after Christmas, 1995 when I was put on this world, as part of a two-for-one deal. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but I’m currently working on becoming an adult in Barcelona. Please bear with me.

I started writing and freelancing because my plans of a steady job fell through. To this day, that’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Or for financial or mental stability.

I’m always trying new things: prose, poetry or a really long article about topics I don’t know anything aboutyet.

I like a challenge. But I also like to keep it simple. I love writing about marketing, highlighting different perspectives and giving you fresh ideas. I also love writing about mental health, women’s health, and writing itself.

I prefer to sit my ass in the sand at the beach, instead of in an office chair. Don’t get me wrong, I love my jobbut I don’t live to work. That doesn’t mean I’m lazy. On the contrary: I try to be as efficient as possible. You’ll find out what that means when we work together.

Want to get to know me even better? I’m flattered! Feel free to creep on my social media channels, or ask me anything.

“Sometimes I have a way with words – sometimes words have their way with me.
